I know how quickly the intricate details of a special moment can slip your mind and seem so distant without having any photos to look back on, so I want to help you to document every milestone no matter how small.
I like, no I love taking photos. Right from the moment that you say ‘Yes’ and want to go to back to the very spot where you had your first date, to the anticipation of the ‘Big Day’ - getting ready to exchange vows, from the solemn moments to the exuberant joy of the dance floor, I’ll be there every step of the way. It won’t stop there though, I’ll be there to capture your ever growing bump, and when your little miracle arrives it’ll be time to zoom in on those tiny fingers and toes. When baby develops their beautiful personality and can sit unaided we can shoot all over again, all in preparation for the extremely messy and adorable cake smash session when baby is 12-24 months. I’ll be around to document every moment you want to treasure.
I am Daphne Boateng and I absolutely love what I do - being able to take you on a photographic journey through all your amazing moments. My mum always used to tell me I was her “talkative madam” due to my inquisitive nature, I ask a lot of questions. I’d always have to the know the answer and wouldn’t stop until I figured out whatever it was, this led to her nicknaming me “Miss Marple”! As the youngest of four kids, I grew up a toddler at a time, when two of my oldest siblings were already in college and uni - any wonder I talk so much, I had to to keep up somehow lol! Because of this, I naturally gravitate towards wanting to know as much as possible about you and your needs, fears and desires for our sessions.
What will you get?
You will receive wonderful and thoughtful images, presented beautifully. I do package sessions and also have the option for you to order off the a la carte.

Who am I?
Daphne Boateng is a self-taught photographer and member of the Guild of Newborn Photographers. She is a University grad who studied Finance & Computing and has extensive knowledge and experience in being able to build rapport with her clients.
​
3 fun facts: My favourite sessions are newborns; favourite TV show is One Tree Hill (corny right), but if we’re talking comedy it has to be The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, followed very closely by Friends ( I couldn’t just choose one!); and lastly - favourite dessert is sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream.
